Taiwan Factsheet

Inspiration

Taiwan has been getting a lot of buzz. The Trump – Tsai-Ing Wen phone call signaled a potential shift in US foreign policy with China and Taiwan that hasn’t changes for decades. And while the world anticipate what will happen with the two world powers, I felt like Taiwan in mainstream media has been reduced largely to a bargaining chip between two giants. The goal of the factsheet is to highlight some of the aspects that makes the nation a progressive leader in today’s world.

Process

This was really my first time designing a fact sheet, the style that I wanted came pretty easily for me after doing some research. My biggest struggle was actually being as succinct with the words and trying to fit them nicely into squares or rectangles.

Big shout-out to Chia-Chun Chung and Elizabeth Wu for coming up with the sources.
